AsFromStrVec

Struct AsFromStrVec

Source
pub struct AsFromStrVec<T>(pub Vec<T>);
Expand description

Wrap a Vec<T: FromStr> parsed from an R character vector.

Each element of the R character vector is parsed into T. All parse errors are collected with their indices.

§Example

use std::net::IpAddr;

#[miniextendr]
fn parse_ips(addrs: AsFromStrVec<IpAddr>) -> Vec<bool> {
    addrs.0.into_iter().map(|ip| ip.is_loopback()).collect()
}
// R: parse_ips(c("127.0.0.1", "8.8.8.8")) → c(TRUE, FALSE)

Layout§

Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
