ConditionCall

Enum ConditionCall

Source
pub enum ConditionCall {
    Inherit,
    None,
}
Expand description

Whether a condition reports a call (conditionCall()): the per-condition equivalent of R’s warning(..., call. = FALSE) / stop(..., call. = FALSE).

Every condition a #[miniextendr] function raises carries the call its transport captured: the wrapper’s call as written (or the caller’s, under call = caller), NULL in ALTREP and connection callbacks. A condition about the data rather than the call opts out with ConditionCall::None; its siblings from the same function keep their call.

Spellings: call = none first in crate::warning!, crate::error!, crate::condition! and the defer_*! macros; RError::without_call; #[condition(call = none)] on a #[derive(RCondition)] type or variant; or an RConditionData::call impl.

On the tagged condition value the choice is the call slot itself: FALSE for ConditionCall::None, read back by the R helper (and by the trait-ABI re-panic, RCondition::from_tagged_sexp) as “no call”.

Variants§

§

Inherit

The call the transport captured (the default).

§

None

No call: conditionCall() is NULL and the printed condition has no In f(...) : prefix.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ConditionCall

Source

pub fn apply(self, call: Option<SEXP>) -> Option<SEXP>

call when the condition keeps its call, None otherwise: the call to hand a transport that takes the R call object directly.

Layout§

Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
