Struct CancelToken 

pub struct CancelToken(/* private fields */);

A shared “stop starting new files” flag. Cloning shares the flag, so a signal handler can hold one clone while the operation checks another.

Cancelling never interrupts a file already in flight: it finishes atomically, and only files that had not started are reported cancelled.
