Refuses an impl method on a generic the field methods define: two
definitions of $.Class (or setMethod("$", "Class")) would follow, and
the later one would win. The getters-only form generates no $<- /
[[<-, so a hand-written one is the point of it; the readers ($, [[,
names, as.list and .DollarNames on S3, $ and .DollarNames on
S4) are generated in both forms. Env classes have no check: their
methods are not S3 methods.
