A trait method whose explicit borrowed receiver needs its R owner.
In addition to mx_meth’s contract, owner must be the caller-rooted
external pointer holding data, with initialized sidecar slots. Only
owner-receiver methods use this signature; ordinary receivers keep mx_meth.
